A small Loyalist paramilitary group that was active during the 1970s. The PTF killed a number of Catholics who it claimed were associated with the Irish Republican Army (IRA). The PTF claimed that its membership was restricted to ex-servicemen and the group had no connections to any other Loyalist paramilitary group.
